Bought your tickets? Walk through the gold decorations and you’re through. Keep walking, stop near the photo shoot area and get your picture. Grab some refreshments available near the event entrance. See the lights flaring out from the door, and you enter.
3…2…1…JUMP!
Boom Entertainment took on Neuqua Valley High School by storm this past weekend with their Spring Fling event. With over 1,500 attendees, BOOM’s very own DJ Marquee, and Ray Eng, along with many of Neuqua’s very own deejays, took on the night and brought about a new meaning to “school dance”.
With over 8 student deejays taking over both the Wildcat stage and the Boom tunnel throughout the whole night. Spring Fling this year took on a the feeling of a musical festival, in which students could showcase their work, attendees could relax in the VIP section and listen to all the fantastic sets, grab some food, or dance the night away at any of the two stages that were set up.
DJ Marquee and Ray Eng from Boom Entertainment helped start off the night with some great sets to help introduce the crowd as doors opened at 6pm. Later that evening, Jimmy Roach took on the Wildcat stage, bringing in more of a house feel to the evening, as Iceman opened up the Boom Tunnel with some hard style music. Bejamins and Dionysus brought about some absolutely sick drops that truly carried through the night with great bass and really held up the crowd energy. Kongzo, Islander, Natives, and XIRO all held up their student fans with some great electro and trap styled sets.
All in all, the Spring Fling 2015 event was a huge success. Amazing sets were performed, great activities were available to the students, and most of all, the fantastic setup of the entire venue really helped shape this year’s winter dance into a whole new atmosphere.
